About MACA
MACA – Medical Ambassadors of Canada Association has been serving communities since 1989. MACA is a Christian charitable organization of trainers and their supporters who employ the CHE strategy for community development.
CHE – Community Health Evangelism/Education is a wholistic training approach practiced in over 80 countries through out the world. MACA acts as the Canadian infrastructure and administrative group that oversees the delivery of wholistic community development programs.
The goal of MACA is to bring awareness of God’s love to communities in need of long term development. MACA acts as a catalyst and training body to help communities discover and determine what God wants them to be. MACA trainers enter into long term relationships with these communities. Using CHE trainers and development strategies that are unique and appropriate for each community, we come alongside local trainers to provide structure and information.
MACA links communities with the resources needed to help them acieve their stated goals while providing information on health promotion and prevention of diseases.
MACA partners with donors, local churches, Foundations and other Christian charities to deliver training in areas where there is a desire to grow. MACA is active in South Asia, South East Asia, the Caribbean and South America and in Papua New Guinea.
